A person may authorize others to conclude a marriage contract with the wife or her guardian, and the Power of Attorney for Marriage must include a special provision for this, and the authorized agent can follow the procedures for registering the marriage in court.
Marriage via Skype: The Syrian Personal Status Law permits marriage via visual means of communication through the presence of the suitor, the fiancée, her guardian, and two witnesses.
