The Jurisdiction of the Civil Status Court

The Magistrates Court has a comprehensive jurisdiction in all disputes related to the correction or amendment of civil status records in the Civil Registry, whether they relate to the birth, marriage or death, or the change or correction of names, as well as Determination of Inheritance related to the transfer of immovable properties and property owned by State(Miri Bare Ownership).
