- The guardian must, within thirty days of the end of his guardianship, hand over all the money in his possession in addition to submitting documents and they are presented to the minor who has reached the age of majority or to his heirs if he dies and he must also provide a copy of the documents to the court.
- If the guardian dies, his heirs or his representative must hand over the minor’s money and submit documents.
- If the guardian refuses, at the end of his guardianship, to hand over the minor’s funds to the person who replaced him in the guardianship within the specified period, the case is referred to the Public Prosecution ten days after warning him to file a lawsuit against him for breach of trust.
- The guardian is responsible for compensation for failure of his duties imposed on him by law.
