Child Maintenance or (Child Support) in Sharia and law who has no money, whether the guardian be father or grandfather, even if the guardian is insolvent, must pay the child support provided that the child does not have money.
The Child Maintenance does not need a lawsuit, but it is sufficient to submit a request to the First Competent Sharia Court Judge who gives the decision directly, and a Family Civil Registry Record is attached to the request, and this decision is implemented directly under penalty of imprisonment upon failure to pay it, knowing that the maintenance can be adjusted every six months.
