rth registration requires the following documents:
- A medical report from the midwife or hospital where the birth took place
- A birth certificate from the Mayor or his representative, where the certificate is signed by two witnesses
- Take the Family Record book with these documents to the Civil Registry Secretariat to which the husband’s registration is attached
- If the husband resides in another region, he can apply to register the birth incident to the Civil Registry Department within the region in which he resides, where it is registered in a special record according to the rules
- As for those residing outside the country, the birth registration transaction is conducted according to the laws in force according to each country, and then it is registered in the Syrian consulates, which in turn sends the Birth Statement to the Civil Registry Secretariat in Syria to register it duly
