It is for marriage that takes place outside the court
Marriage confirmation requires:
- An individual Civil Registration Extract special for marriage for both the husband and the wife
- A medical report or notification of a pregnancy, but in the case of children there is no need for that
- The wife submits a request to the judge requesting confirmation of marriage and establishing the filiation of children in the event of their presence, then the husband acknowledges the marriage and also the filiation , after which the court issues its decision to confirm the marriage and filiation, then the two parties submit the dropping of the right from the Appeal Court so that the judgment becomes final
- The husband takes a certified copy of that court judgment to the Civil Registry Department in which his civil registration is in place to register that he is married
- The Civil Registry Department transfers the wife’s registration to the husband’s field
Based on all of this, the husband gets the Family Record Book
With emphasis on the necessity of registering all civil status incidents that occur, such as births and deaths, on the civil registry sheet and the Family Record Book
