It is permissible to agree that the dowry in the marriage contract should be from the Gold Jewelry.
The Sharia Court is the court that is competent to hear the dispute related to the gold jewelry, whether the husband took the Gold Jewelry from his wife with her consent or coercion, and whether he took it in kind or its value, because the law assumes that the wife has fallen under coercion and therefore, she is entitled to take the gold jewelry back whether in cash or in kind.
