The permission of a minor child’s travel needs the approval of the guardian (father) or obtaining approval from the grandfather, brother or uncle.
The guardian’s approval is either in the Immigration and Passports Department or before the Sharia judge, according to a statement stating that he agrees that the child will travel with the mother. When no one is present, the travel permission is granted by the Sharia judge.
